Register for Classes
Newly admitted students who have completed placement testing and online orientation – as well as all current BHC students – can register for classes online through myBHC. If you have questions before you register, contact Advising.
Note: Students who have earned less than 30 credit hours and plan to earn a degree or certificate need to connect with an Advisor prior to registration.
How to Register Online
Minimester
- Registration opens: Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024
- Minimester classes begin: Monday, Dec. 16, 2024
Spring 2025
- Registration opens: Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024
- Spring classes begin: Monday, Jan. 13, 2025
- Second eight-week courses begin: Monday, March 17, 2025
Summer 2025
- Registration opens: Tuesday, April 1, 2025
- Summer classes begin: Monday, June 2 and Monday, June 30, 2025
Fall 2025
- Registration opens: Tuesday, April 1, 2025

Adding and Dropping Classes
Students may change their schedules by adding and dropping classes, or in some cases, the student may need to withdraw from College altogether.
Refund Policy
It is Black Hawk College’s policy to apply all awarded grants, scholarships and/or loans toward a student’s balance due before being eligible for a refund.
